Being good or being known: International reputation of high-speed railway enterprises

摘要： With fierce competition in the global high-speed railway (HSR) market, international reputation has become essential for enterprises to venture into overseas markets. However, few studies have been performed on the international reputation of HSR enterprises. This study aims to reveal the formation mechanism of HSR enterprises’ international reputation by developing a theoretical framework. The researchers identified five factors and proposed a hypothetical path model based on a comprehensive literature review. After the pilot study, questionnaires were distributed to practitioners in the international HSR industry for data collection. The path model was validated based on partial least-squares structural equation modeling. Eight of the nine paths are statistically supported. Researchers have structured a theoretical framework for the international reputation of HSR enterprises from two perspectives: Being good and being known. Subsequently, a strategic framework was developed to provide targeted promotion strategies for HSR enterprises. The findings of this study contribute to existing international reputation theories using the theoretical model and provide beneficial guidance for HSR enterprises to improve their international reputation through a strategic framework.

Well-being analysis of GSU transformer insulation incorporating the impact on power generation using

摘要： With the prevailing power scenario, every watt-second of electrical energy has its own merit in satisfying the consumer demand. At the state of such a stringent energy demanding era, failure of a power generation equipment compounds the energy constraints which will not only result in a huge loss of generation but also have an impact on capital revenue. The unexpected failure of generator step-up (GSU) transformer is especially a major disturbance in the power system operation and leads to unscheduled outages with power delivery problems. The time lag in bringing back the equipment in service after rectification or replacement may increase the criticality as the process involves mobilization of spares and maintenance professionals. Hot atmosphere existing in the vicinity of thermal power stations running round-the-clock with more than 100% plant load factor (PLF) increases the thermal stress of the electrical insulation which leads to premature failure of windings, bushings, core laminations, etc. The healthy state of the GSU transformer has to be ensured to minimize the loss of power generation. As the predication related to failure of a GSU transformer is associated with some uncertainties, a fuzzy approach is employed in this paper along with actual field data and case studies for the well-being analysis of GSU transformer.

Is sodium percarbonate a good choice in situ remediation of deltamethrin pollution?

摘要： In this research, the toxic effects of deltamethrin (DM) on the behavior responses of Zebra fish ( ) in the characteristic of behavior strength were investigated followed by an assessment of an in situ remediation of the DM pollution using sodium percarbonate. Behavior strength of was approximately 0.83 in the control group and was slightly higher than 0.83 in the sublethal treatment (0.1 TU (toxic unit)), which suggested that sublethal DM exposure could induce a stimulation effect in 48 h of exposure. In lower DM concentration treatments (0.5 and 1.0 TU), behavior strength could be inhibited significantly. Behavior responses of showed a gradually increased tendency when they were exposed to higher concentration of DM, and the declining amplitudes of behavior strength changed with the increase of DM concentrations. These results suggested that DM had evident acute toxicity effects on the behavior responses of with a good dose-effect relationship. The in situ remediation of the DM pollution using sodium percarbonate showed that the toxic effect of DM on behavior responses of could be eliminated even in the highest concentration of DM (5.0 TU). Meanwhile, the behavior response of in the treatment of sodium percarbonate was the same as in the control, which indicated that sodium percarbonate had no evident toxic effects on the behavior of in the current concentration. This study suggested that adding sodium percarbonate in situ might be a good way to eliminate the DM toxic effects.

文章从水的社会循环全过程的角度，论述了城市水资源短缺危机的解决途径，指出进行城市污水和工业废水的处理和回用，节约用水，进行饮用水除污染处理，以及进行水的优质优用，合理调配，开发雨水、海水利用等，以及在充分论证基础上进行远距离调水，是缓解城市水资源危机的多种可能途径。

The psychology of organizational and social sustainability

摘要： This paper presents 12 dimensions of work with the aim of providing further understanding of the relationship between work and the psychological well-being of workers. Previous research has indicated that these dimensions are significant in establishing such a relationship, which is essential to creating good work. These dimensions are also influential in their effect on the psychological state of workers and are translated specifically into actionable items in the workplace. A hypothetical system model is developed to relate these dimensions to one another, to workers, and to organizations. This set of dimensions also serves as a basis for further development of work design and evaluation tools.

On water security, sustainability, and the water-food-energy-climate nexus

摘要： The role of water security in sustainable development and in the nexus of water, food, energy and climate interactions is examined from the starting point of the definition of water security offered by Grey and Sadoff. Much about the notion of security has to do with the presumption of scarcity in the resources required to meet human needs. The treatment of scarcity in mainstream economics is in turn examined, therefore, in relation to how each of us as individuals reconciles means with ends, a procedure at the core of the idea of sustainable development. According to the Grey-Sadoff definition, attaining water security amounts to achieving basic, single-sector water development as a precursor of more general, self-sustaining, multi-sectoral development. This is consistent with the way in which water is treated as “first among equals”, i.e. privileged, in thinking about what is key in achieving security around the nexus of water, food, energy and climate. Cities, of course, are locations where demands for these multiple resource-energy flows are increasingly being generated. The paper discusses two important facets of security, i.e., diversity of access to resources and services (such as sanitation) and resilience in the behavior of coupled human-built-natural systems. Eight quasi-operational principles, by which to gauge nexus security with respect to city buildings and infrastructure, are developed.

潜运沉管建闸适用在航运发达的顺直河道上建设水工建筑物。闸位取在原来航道上，闸室和闸门口径可以与航道等宽，运行期不碍航；闸室的钢筋混凝土的浇筑，预埋、闸门和启闭设备的安装和调试等都可在预制场内完成；预制场灌水后，确定闸身潜运时的有效质量和底板底高程，使潜运及在航道内的定位工作十分简便；可以水上拆装和动水开关闸门；施工风险小，施工期短，临时工程少，工程造价省。

Nexus security: governance, innovation and the resilient city

摘要： Nexus security is a compound mix of ideas: reconciling human needs and wants with access to multiple resources; diversity of access to those resources and services; resilience in the face of weather- and climate-related variability; resilience likewise in the face of infrastructure failure; and the personal, individual sense of belonging. At the level of Systems Thinking there is a very close relationship between resilience in the behavior of natural (ecological) systems and resilience in the social dynamics of governance within communities, where such resilience establishes the viability of these communities over centuries, which in turn entails successful stewardship of the man-environment relationship. We use insights from this cross-system mapping — across natural, built, and human systems — to assess, first, the role of city governance in achieving nexus security (or not) and, second, the role of technological innovations in serving the same purpose. More specifically, eight principles, covering resilience and diversity of access to resources and services, are used to gauge security-enhancing features of city buildings and infrastructure. Case studies include new designs of resilient office blocks, nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) recovery systems for sanitation and wastewater treatment, and the reconstruction of urban parks for the provision of ecosystem services. Throughout the paper, matters of risk in the face of meteorological variability are prominent. We do not conclude, however, that the presence of risk implies nexus security.

摘要：

虽然已经有不少理论应用于信息系统（information system, IS）领域的社交媒体研究，但是从哲学角度系统探讨社交媒体理论基础的研究还是比较少的。本文以人与世界的关系以及人与他人的关系两个维度构建了分析社交网络用户行为的哲学理论框架。人与世界的关系维度是以笛卡尔的理性理论和海德格尔的历史性理论为基础的；人与他人的关系维度是以工具主义和“此在”思想为基础的。这个哲学框架可以帮助我们比较社交媒体研究中的几个本原理论：戈夫曼的自我呈现理论、布迪厄的社会资本理论、萨特的存在投射理论和海德格尔的“此在”理论。本文通过“人与世界的关系- 人与他人的关系”这个哲学框架，来解析这四种理论在理解社交媒体用户行为方面的效能。与此同时，研究将这四种理论的效能与IS 研究中的已有的实证研究相比较，发现虽然有些解读与实证研究的结果相匹配，但是还有一些解读尚未被实证研究，这应该是未来研究的方向。

面向中国实践的工程管理伦理研究

摘要：

新时期中国工程实践面临更加尖锐复杂的时代性伦理问题，而当前工程管理伦理水平滞后于工程建设的发展要求，成为阻碍伦理问题有效解决的重要因素，不利于我国工程向好、向善、高质量发展。为此，在理论分析、案例调研和专家研讨的基础上，本文结合工程管理者在我国工程实践中的重要地位，分析了围绕工程师展开的工程伦理在我国实践中的不完全适用性，阐述了转变核心伦理主体、开展工程管理伦理研究的必要趋向，凝练了工程管理伦理微观、中观、宏观3 个层次的内涵，探讨了工程对社会与环境的负面影响及相应伦理问题的成因，呈现了工程演化视角下工程管理伦理问题的动态性与发展性，提出了工程管理者在实践中应遵循的五项基本伦理原则。为推动我国工程管理伦理建设，研究建议，通过工程管理伦理教育培训，培育和激励工程管理者增强伦理意识，积极承担伦理责任，提升道德能力，涵育伦理领导力，发挥伦理智慧；推广与应用工程管理伦理指南，指导工程全生命周期中伦理问题的解决，从而推动社会整体伦理环境的改善。

智能城市评价指标体系(City IQ Evaluation System)：研制过程与应用 Review

摘要：

本文对全球38组现有的智能城市评价指标体系进行了系统的梳理分析后，依据体系建构、方法与指标选取等方面的特点，详细剖析了38组现有系统的二级指标和三级指标，以此归类分析后，确定智能城市评价指标体系(City IQ Evaluation System) 的通用基础。通过聚类分析，得到5个维度。依托中国工程院、德国工程院、瑞典皇家工程院、住房和城乡建设部规划管理中心、国务院发展研究中心等在内的共14个单位的275位专家，通过指标筛选、指标调整和数据标准化处理，完成了City IQ Evaluation System-1.0 基础版本的研制。并通过对指标数据源更普适、开放、动态的调整，得到了改进后的City IQ Evaluation System-2.0版本，引入IQ测评的偏差测智法得到了City IQ Evaluation System-3.0版本。研究团队基于City IQ Evaluation System对全球41个智能城市进行多轮测评。综合来看，City IQ Evaluation System 系列评价指标体系的特点包括：以智能生命体理论作支撑，以更普适、开放、动态的数据源形成指标，并以IQ 测评的思想和方法提升City IQEvaluation System 的灵敏性和准确性。

节流性能优异的新型液体静压支承节流器

摘要：

传统的液体静压支承节流器存在严重缺陷，性能不佳，不能消除支承间隙随外加载荷增加而剧减的缺点，严重影响其实际应用。新型节流器节流变量指数b≥3，能够保持节流器进油与油囊排油速度接近一致。此外，当有外加载荷作用于支承时，油囊压力会升高，迫使节流变量产生附加增量，从而弥补了因油囊压力升高而减少供油量与油囊增加的排油量。因此，新型节流器能够保证在有外加载荷作用时支承间隙变化很小或近于不变。新型节流器节流性能优良，结构简单，成本低廉，体积较小，具有实用价值。
